CH1 Desk Apprentice I'm thinking of selling mine since we've moved I've only used a couple of times in the winter... before we moved it was fantastic though-but anyways that's done it sits empty right now

Heather can you take the paper outside and have a fire??? Have the kids hunt for sticks and keep the hose ready

For me today there's so much to do I'm going to post as I go, last night the rest of the electrical was finished, the one wall was studded, and two more walls were started, then we came down stairs ya know done for the night and I started dinner well dh and his dad started looking at a wall that we want to knock down to make the closet door bigger so they decide to knock a little hole from the inside of the closet so they can see if the light switch wire runs through .... well one thing leads to another and the wall is down now-I'm like guys we have enough projects going already (that makes me crazy) AND I still have to work in here all my sewing stuff is covered in dust!

Well today is more calm at my house...which is good.
  • made blueberry pancakes
  • washed up some dishes
  • started the dishwasher
  • had child sweep the dining room floor
  • ordered the Bible atlas, a sewing book, and one birthday present for E11
  • sent that MOPS email- that means I can cruise into Convention now I think
  • called the Bernina dealer near to me and asked about recovering the accessories for my Bernina made sewing machine. R lost the pouch at some point in her sewing excursions So, the shop owner and machine maintenance buy will be back next week and I'll see what he can do for me. I'm missing the button holer and the zipper foot for sure. Not sure what else.

Ok so I'm going to join my kids outside in a moment and read aloud to them from The Penderwicks.

Then I'm going to begin work in my school room.

I thought it was going to be cooler today, but maybe not so much...might have to turn the a/c back on.

Well girls...I live in a tiny village surrounded by vast amounts of farmland, but I still live in "town". So, I don't have a fire ring or anything like that. Burning trash in the backyard is not allowed.

BUT...we do have friends with a fire pit. Maybe...

Alright...grocery shopping with dd is NOT fun! It is a workout!

So far:
  • a bit of cleaning up in the guest room
  • grocery shopping--forgot my list, but I made it home with all bit 4 items, and they aren't essential for the next few days
  • washed out some bins I am thinking of using either in the school room or dd's room
  • gathered some clothes to tag later

Now dd is napping and I need to put away groceries and get lunch started!

Jen - I think I must have missed a post. Why are you tagging lots of items? Are you having a garage sale soon?

Heather - I'm glad you are not in danger of having a stroke today. Those type days are NOT sexy.

April - I missed you posting yesterday.

Holly - Seriously, are you getting an award after all of this???

It's not nice to make people jealous.
