Do a search on eBay for : drinking gourds, dipper gourds, long-handled gourds.
There is a guy who sells gourds on eBay; he only takes money orders so it takes a while to get your item after you've bought it.
However, we got one and used it as a 'visual aid' for the book, and now it hangs decoratively on our wall.
We paid less than $10 including shipping and it is a "very cool tool"! :)
