No FIAR books this time, but I hit the jackpot with good "hsing" books. No, no textbooks, either, just great, GREAT history go-along books  My dc love to read. My oldest, especially (b/c she's of the right age), reads this type book and retains almost ALL of it. It's amazing. If she picks up a book like this to read, it's "hers," and she remembers. Ahhhhhhh, it's wonderful :)
So, I wound up buying 22 Cornerstones of Freedom books about American History for 80 cents each  http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=cornerstones+of+freedom+&_trksid=p5197.c0.m627
and about 20 Value Tales book for 40 cents each  They're books that focus on a "value" (generosity, helping others, creativity, etc.) and then give a biography of a person who shows that value (including Thomas Edison, Beethoven, Harriet Tubman, Louis Pasteur, Marie Curie). http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=value+tales+&_trksid=p5197.c0.m627
One thing I'm so excited about is how many of these will tie in to our FIAR studies :hop:
Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I love hsing and finding hsing "helps" :D
Now, of course, I'm going to need more bookshelves   ;)
