It works!!

Just a little testimony about how much I love FIAR!! This week Hannah had to come up with an invention for her science class that she goes to. She and her daddy came up with a "cat trapper" to keep our cat from going into her room at night. Unfortunately, it didn't work too well and would fall over the instant the cat touched it! DH explained that this was our first try and often it takes several times to get a new invention right. Hannah responds, "Just like the Glorious Flight! It took Papa Bleriot 11 times to get his plane right!"

YES! I was overjoyed to know that the things we are doing are actually sticking!!

Nathaniel noticed a street sign that was the name of a freed slave...he said "Oh, remember we studied that with Follow the Drnking Gourd?" I had even forgotten that we studied so much on that topic. I'm telling you, that just made my week. :D

It is moments like that, that keep me going when I want to give up and ship them off to school! I think the Lord knows when I need one, and sends them my way!! :lol:
