Hi Friends,

Just wanted to share some photos. I've posted these on my blog, but know that some of you aren't able to see them there.

This one is of Eliana's first smile the day after surgery. Christopher was the lucky recipient. :hcry: I was concerned that she would lose this skill and delighted and so very thankful when she hadn't!

The rest of these are slide shows at photobucket. All are from the hospital.

***WARNING*** I don't think that these are as "bad" as the last slideshow from the day of surgery. (If you can't access my blog and want to see those, just let me know and I'll post a link.) However, you can see her incision on some of the photos. If you have children watching, you might want to preview them.

Here's the first set. Most are the day after surgery. The thing on her head is an IV, covered with a little cup (I/2 of it) and her bow on top of that! One with a man in blue scrubs is one of her anesthesiologists.

Second set - This is two days post-op. Fewer cords, no IV, etc. The man holding her when she is fussing is Dr. Jaggers, her surgeon. Sorry for the weird effects of my striped shirt.

Final Day. The first picture is Eliana's cardiologist, Dr. Carboni. Pictures at the end are of Duke Hospital.

Oh, Leslie. :hcry: I am so glad that the surgery is behind you now. You all look so sweet in your interactions with little "E." :lol:

As an aside, I am so proud of you and your family. As I looked at the pictures, I couldn't help but think of how impressed I would be if I didn't know homeschooling and was getting a look at your family as an example of it.

Continuing to remember you and Eliana and everyone in your family.

I haven't seen many pictures of her wide awake. Those were fun to see. Eliana is absolutely adorable!!
