We're finishing up The Pumpkin Runner, and then we're moving on to something else, but I haven't decided what yet :perplex: I don't know if we'll do something short and then move into Thanksgiving or just jump into a longer Thanksgiving unit....... We'll see what the week brings ;)

Madeline.
Dd is loving it too! She is enjoying it so much she had to build Madeline's house out of Legos. Hehe.
We have sorta started Cranberry Thanksgiving in our eagerness for the holiday. But we will dive in that one next week.

Finishing up Mike Mulligan.
I've read this book to my DD so many times before we rowed it, but can honestly say I never appreciated it until we rowed it . . . now I love it. Amazing how the activities are changing my opinion on a book. ;)

We're supposed to be doing The Pumpkin Runner, but it still isn't available at the library. We're going ahead with studying Australia and hopefully it will be in soon.

We're rowing Truman's Aunt Farm. :D My eldest thinks it's quite funny, but when my youngest told Daddy that, "Ants only live in America and the USA."
That caused some eyebrow raising at the table. My eldest was doubled up in laughter thinking it was a joke, and the littler one sat there asking what was so funny. We'd actually discussed that, "Your Aunts live in Australia and USA." Yeah, we lost something in the translation of homonyms there. I'm sure one day our 7 year old will be full of laughter over this funny thing, but in the mean time he's quite baffled as to why we found the whole thing funny.

That's funny about the ants/aunts in the USA
We will begin Cranberry Thanksgiving on Wednesday. The girls are very excited...since we ROW'd it last year and it was their favorite.

We are back to FIAR after two weeks off to do a Download n Go about Autumn. We are rowing How to Make an Apple Pie and see the World. This is going very well so far this week. My 5dd was so excited when I told her we were going to have a book of the week again. We are all looking forward to baking and eating an apple pie on Friday.:)

Finishing The Mitten on Monday and then on to the Papa Piccolo adventure. Doing my research today and finding many helpful ideas from those that have rowed before me. My thanks to those who post what they have done with a book. It makes my life easier. Yes, I will pass it along if I use something I didn't see here.
