View Full Version : Animal Classification Game
from NASA of all places! I googled for a printable animal classification chart and this was the first thing that came up. Not exactly what I was looking for but nice all the same.
Animal Classification Game and Lesson Plan (http://scifiles.larc.nasa.gov/educators/episodes/2004_2005/zany_animal/Zany_Animal_1.pdf)
Now, does anyone know where I can find a printable animal classification chart?

I am not sure there is a chart here- I have checked this and every link I have- can't find a chart. :( You probably tried here already, but just in case...

:hi: Jeni,
What exactly are you looking/hoping for in a chart?
:)
Ami,
I'm looking for something that has the Animal Kingdom at the top, then all the phyllums of the animal kingdom under that and then break downs of the classes of some of the larger phyllums under that. I've been working on something myself in Word since I couldn't find anything but if you know of an already made one (doesn't have to be free but I do need it to be downloadable/printable) I could just  :D
Lori, I actually hadn't tried there. I couldn't find a chart there either but very cool site. Thanks :D

Jeni,
Try changing your google to animal taxonomy chart or metazoa taxonomy chart or animalia taxonomychart.
I found this:
http://puritas.net/Classification%20of%20animals.pdf
Page 3 of this PDF file looks sorta similar to what you described.
I've used these sites to look up things, but they don't have downloadable charts (I don't think):

http://www.seaworld.org/just-for-teachers/guides/diversity-of-life/kingdom-animalia.htm

Hope these help.
