Starting Thomas Edison on Monday

Wow, I can't believe we'll be starting our last book of our FIAR school year on Monday. This year has just flown by. So far, the kids have enjoyed all the books we rowed; The Boxcar Children, Betsy Ross, and Homer Price. The Boxcar Children has been their favorite, but we'll see how Thomas Edison does :lol:.

Anyone else wrapping up the year with TE?

My ds11 has enjoyed Thomas Edison very much. We will finish the last 4 chapters this coming week, and then spend the next 1-2 weeks finishing up anything we want to study further. It's been a great study!

After that we will be on to Homer Price.

We made a birthday cake for him last week using the recipe out ofthe manual. It was delicious.

I didn'yt know what a bundt tin was - I'm not big on baking really, so it's just round. My DS put on a smiley face to sho whow happy TE would be on his birhday getting that cake :0)
