Ideas for Snowy Day with our special kiddos

Since snow seems to be the theme all over the place. We still have remnants from our 2 feet of weeks ago and got a light dusting last night. I thought some of you might be reading "Snowy Day". I found this site that has lots of ideas for adapting this book to use for special needs kids.

There are picture cards for the story, ideas for gross motor play as well as some sensory ideas. Great for my non-verbal, active sensory guy :)

They also have similar ideas for "The Mitten" for this cold weather.
