Cheryl, yes, she is a person. She has her PhD and is a professor at Colorado State University, one of the world's experts in the humane treatment of food animals, a very talented author, oh, and she lives with autism.

It looks like a biography although HBO movies tend to be slanted to whatever the view of the writers. (well, I guess that is the same for all movies!) I hope it is accurate.

It looked pretty good actually. The actress playing Temple is Clare Danes.

The promo was of Temple's mother sticking up for her when the word "autistic" was used in a negative wa by educators or doctors. Another part of the promo was of Temple designing that animal corral thing and everyone calling her brilliant.

I know many of you don't have HBO and I only have it because it was some deal or something or other. Maybe you can get a tape or something or visit a friend coincidentally while the movie is on??? :lol:

Defintitely want to check this movie out! :D

Right now I'm having a cable crisis (HGTV and FN are dropped and I'm scrambling to find another provider) but I will most certainly record it if I can.
