I need a fun Betsy Ross Craft that appeals to girls. We're not actually rowing the book yet, but I thought you ladies here might have some good ideas. I have something up my sleeve, but thought I'd ask here all the same :D

How about a loom? TOS sells a loom kit for weaving some things from colonial times.

You could also put supplies in your kit for making a sampler with some stitch directions for her.
