Exciting trip to the store.

I took Ronnie and Ephraim to the store this afternoon and let Ronnie walk. On the way in I told her she had to stay by me and she could walk, but if she wandered off into the cart for her. The baby rides on my back in a carrier.

She did fantastic. I was so proud of her, she stayed close, talked about what she could see, touched a few things but didn't pitch a fit when I said we couldn't buy something. She got seperated from me for a moment and she got pretty nervous. I could see her and cart passed between us, she got turned around and didn't know where I was. I was so glad she got scared and didn't just wander off not caring. :clap:

She did get into the cart when she found a bag of doritos. That is one of her things at the grocery store to get a bag of nacho cheese doritos. Helps keep the peace. ;)

Just had to share. I think my gal is growing up...in some areas anyway. ;)

That is so true. I think part of my problems with her stem from me treating her like the baby. They are alike in so many ways and it is just easier to put her in the cart or stroller. But, she is a big girl. ;)
