Check out this link. It's a thread I started. Kendra has a link for Jesse Tree.

It's basically a daily reading and short devotional through the line of Jesus in the Bible. The "leaves" of the tree are often pictures of the Bible story.

The link Mary posted should help too.

Isn't Kendra's beautiful? (sigh)

Here's (http://www.rca.org/Page.aspx?&pid=1628&srcid=1625) the free one we've used for several years.

I ordered this one (http://family.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=106592&item_code=WW&netp_id=627583&event=ESRCN&view=covers#CURR) for Advent this year as my dc don't like to color anymore. ;) I'd eventually like to make real ornaments.

Here is another example of the Jesse Tree I found.

http://festalcelebrations.wordpress.com/2007/12/27/jesse-tree-project-2008/

The Orthodox church starts the Nativity season in the middle of November. Our advent is 40 days prior to Christmas. Than we celebrate the birth of Christ through January 12th. So basically our Christmas season lasts 52 days and that is why you see 52 ornaments.

This link has pictures of 52 ornaments. Also on this link there is typed in red llinks to scripture that goes along with it. Unfortunately a couple of those links are broken. The lady who started this site is unable to keep up with it. You can still get to the scripture verses by clicking on the word "here" on the red typed sentence that says: Patterns for a shrink-plastic version of the 52 ornament tree are available here. Than scroll down to more red type and it will say scripture verses can be found here. Click on that.

Last year I ordered a book and Julia colored paper ornaments and we hung them on a big paper tree. This year I want something nicer and longer lasting so I bought a wire photo/ornament holder shaped like a tree. For the ornaments I'm going to trace the pictures from last year on Shrinky Dink paper. We'll color them and punch a hole in them before baking. They'll come out to a cute, little size. We've done necklaces like this before. I'm hoping this way I can save the ornaments from year to year, especially as Julia gets too old to enjoy coloring (of course *I still enjoy it, lol).

Where did you find this? I've been looking and not finding anything I like. I'm planning to do the shrinky dink ornaments, too!

I did a google search for something like 'photo tree ornament holders' and found this site:
