I called the school district we are moving to, to find out if they will provide speech services to my (preschool aged ) kids.
THey said they are "required to, BY LAW". Ok- so I explained what happend in our current district , where they are refusing to see my kids. She said they are breaking the law!
Then yesterday I received call from our public school's special ed. director apologizing profusely for the "misunderstanding". I'm sure the other school district called them! So suddenly they are more than happy to see my kids, and are going to do some extra speech sessions to make up the past few weeks they missed!:clap:
