Autism/ADHD and FIAR

I was wondering if any of you ladies would be willing to share stories, advice ect about using FIAR with autistic and or ADHD boys? I have two autistic sons (5 and 7 yo) and an 11 yo with the attention span of a gnat.

Also just as an aside, do your boys have a facination with all things with wheels? Not facination....obsession! How do I incorporate this into their learning to keep them interested. (I DO have som eideas of my own I an just looking for others experiences and innovative ideas.)

I used match box cars to teach addition and subtraction. I made a "garage" on paper in which cars drove to add and cars left to subtract.
