A Reason for Spelling

I purchased A Reason for Spelling (Level C) for my son to use when we start school next month. Generally speaking, I usually don't buy Teacher's Manuals and I didn't this time, either. After flipping through the book, I see there's a lot of information that is in the Teacher's Book that is not in the Student Book. I hadn't planned on him doing every exercise in the book (we have way more than spelling to get done everyday!), which is good because without the Teacher's manual, there's no way we can do every activity.

So should we just continue on with the lists and do what we can with just the student book or do I need to bite the bullet and buy the Teacher's book as well?

I don't know. I am the type of person who HAS TO HAVE the TM. I am lost without them. :unsure:

I just purchased Level B for ds, but thinking we need level A since we have never done spelling, but I did go ahead and got the TM too.

I got mine on e-bay though for $4.95. I am looking at a Level A book (student) but not sure if I want to pay full price for the TM. I am going to keep looking on e-bay to see if I find one though.
