Great writing programs?

My husband is about to apply to MBA programs and is wanting to beef up his writing skills. Does anyone know of great advanced writing programs out there that would help with this?

Supposedly, the higher levels of Writing Strands will prepare anyone for any college writing they'll ever have to do. I can't say from experience, though.....

I would suggest biting the bullet and enrolling in at least one college level writing class. He might even be able to take an online class. I would try to explain WHY he was wanting the class when enrolling, so the admin. advisor doesn't saddle him with a freshman/sophomore level class.

My only other suggestion would be that if there is a college or university nearby, perhaps their study skills/writing center/tutoring center might be able to help, to at least steer him in the right direction - help him find a tutor or writing group or class.
