I am thinking about ordering Exploring Government (http://www.homeschoolhighschoolhistory.com/american-government-high-school-curriculum.php)for my 8th grade history buff to use this year. I plan to send him to high school in ninth grade but I want to make sure he learns about the government first -- since our schools apparently don't teach it too well, as I mentioned in my civics thread (http://www.fiarhq.com/~gbprnhrz/forum/showthread.php?t=61262) in the family room.

If you have used this curriculum -- or either of the other two Notgrass high school progams on World and American history -- could you please share about it?

TIA!

Julie~My two high schoolers and I really like Notgrass history. I haven't used the government one yet, but I'm ordering it for Levi for next school year. He'll be in 11th grade.

I was thinking about ordering this for Anna and Abby:

Daniel used the World History this year and said that history was his favorite subject this year (first time I've ever heard this from him!). It was easy to follow (a unit a week, divided into 5 days) and he worked on it independantly. There wasn't enough literature in it for my liking, but it was manageable for him. I will use it again!
