Hi All
I wanted to update ya'll on what is going on with Eliana. You have been so faithful to encourage and pray for us. I'm so very thankful for that!
We had a bit of a rough time yesterday with Eliana spitting up her feeds. Her heart is working extra hard and after today her meds will be increased to help deal with the extra fluid in her heart/lungs which will hopefully help her heart not have to work quite so hard.
Weight - She has gained again! :hop: :hop: She is up to 10 pounds and 2 ounces. :D That is 7 ounces from last week. (Some of this is probably fluid retention that will be lost after the increase in meds, but she is still going in the right direction!)
Surgery - We have been told that she has about 2 to 4 weeks and that we need to pick some dates. Oh, now I really do have to think about what lies ahead - not just in the abstract either. We'll probably look to early April but haven't had a chance to sit down and talk it over.
Adhesive - So many of you were helpful when I asked about the bandages irritating Eliana's skin. I was told initially just to switch side for her tube/bandages which did help. After yesterdays changing of the bandage though her poor little cheek looked bad. :( It's hurt. Today the cardiologist gave me duoderm to put on under the bandage and I'm hopeful that it will help! Thanks for all of the advice so that I knew what to ask for!
Blog - I've written out more here in case you want to read more details. I'll definitely keep you all posted.

Thank you for your prayers and encouragment!
