We stumbled upon a very sweet book at the library this morning called Mara in the Morning by C. B. Christiansen. It's about a little girl who gets up before the rest of her family and enjoys the quiet time in the morning before the day really gets started. Mara is my elder daughter's name, too, so it was especially meaningful for us. My younger daughter now wants to find a book called Cecelia Wakes Up. Wish me luck! ;)
