Help ~ How many balls do YOU see?

On the Yellow Ball copyright/dedication pages? The manual says to see how many we can find, and implies that there are many. I only see 2 in my copy from the library. An orange one and the yellow one. :unsure: Are they all in the center where the pages meet? The library copy had been ripped and taped, so part of the crease is taped (not very well). However, from what I can tell, there are children building a sand castle at the top and then a series of people laying on beach towels.

We were doing to do this activity today, but counting 2 just doesn't seem right. What am I missing?

Hmmm, I looked in our copy and I can see three and maybe four if you count the lady in the upper left -- a spinning blue ball, red ball in top center, yellow ball along the shore and orange ball in lower right.

Thanks for checking Bethany! The red ball in the top center is covered by a bad tape job. :unsure: So we won't be able to count that one.

The lady in the top left looks to me like she is holding a blue beach hat…I never considered it to be a ball. I could use that as an "action shot" to get another ball to count.

Then maybe we will just count and tally off various colors we see at the beach. :cool:
