Hello,
I am a mama to a little boy that will be three in July and a former teacher. I would love to homeschool but my husband is very adamantly against it. I have learned to trust (though some days more than others) that God has a wonderful plan for our family in the school system. I will most likely start him in K when he is 6 and would love to give him a great start. I used to teach with the Abeka curriculum and am interested in Montessori as well. Any tips, encouragement, direction would be appreciated! Thank you!

I think B4 would be a wonderful start for him, no matter where his education path takes him (and you). There are so many wonderful books you both can enjoy and great memories you can make by using this gentle, loving, curl-up-on-the-couch-and-cuddle program!
Welcome!

Welcome! :hi:
Ya know, my dh isn't totally sold out on Homeschooling but doing B4 has made him more interested in learning at home. It is something that he can join in and totally feel comfortable.
Being 3, you can just enjoy your day and throw a book or two in there. It provides some wonderful memories with your child whether or not you will be homeschooling in the future.
 to you as you trust in God's plan!

Once your dh sees how much your child learns at home, he may reconsider. (I suppose it depends on his reasons for opposing in the first place.) Life teaches so much.
Either way, the fun you'll have with Before will still be cherished memories and a great foundation. :) My kids especially love the Jesse Bear stories and Going on a Bear Hunt; in fact, I don't think we found any titles they didn't like.
