"Jenny's Surprise Summer" reprinted under different name?

I was google searching for "Jenny's Surprise Summer" and ran across two different places that comment that the title was reprinted with a different title "Kittens For Keeps".

These are direct quotes from two sources although this one says "adapted" but the other one stated it was a reprint. -->

* * * Eugenie, Jenny's Surprise Summer, 1981. This book is definitely the one being looked for in K11. This book has been reprinted and retitled Kittens for Keeps. It is considered a Beginning Reader. It is the same book as Jenny's Surprise Summer, but larger and in hard cover with no Goldenbook binding.

Has anyone else heard of this?

The booksellers who over-price "Jenny's Surprise Summer" don't know about it.

In the archives there is a post that compares the 2. The Kitten for Keeps version is a simplified easy reader of basically the same story. The story if similiar, but I think it loses some of it's richness in the adaptation. I've never seen Kitten for Keeps- but found my copy of Jenny's Surprise Summer at a thrift store for a quarter.
