Do most people finish all the V4 titles in one year? Or perhaps take a year and a half or two years. I am trying to get a feel of how long to expect this volume to take for my long range plans.
I know V 1-3 can take 2 years to row throught all the titles once. But I'm not so sure about V4's timeframe.

we rowed volume 4 over the course of 1 school year. we spent a week on the actual book, and then took a week or so to explore a few more topics in depth. love, love, love vol. 4! :glasses:

I was hoping it was one year. Hmmm... the digitals, I hadn't thought of that for this V. I should start buying a few now and then to use with V4:D I haven't bought any of the fold N learns yet, but they do look very good and I am so tempted to buy.

I will be rowing Volume 4 next year with my then 10 yr. old. We are taking 2 weeks per title and adding in some chapter book related studies between FIAR 4
books. We plan to take all year.

We generally spend 2 weeks on each title....but if something grabs our imaginations ( Like Cowboy Charlie) we might spend a month doing activities that were birthed from that title.:roflol:

:D This will be my first time rowing Vol. 4, and I am excited about it. I will be rowing with a 9 yr old and will have a tagalong 6 yr old who will go back to Vol's 1-3 with her brother the year after that. I'm hoping she won't remember much so that I can rerow Vol. 4 with her later on...

For us, Vol 4 is sprinkled in. We are currently doing only one week on each title and hope to come back for a second week later. I will not be moving on to Beyond next year, so I have plenty of time to get it all done along with the few titles from other volumes that we've missed. I can't wait to start all over again, though  My kiddos have been asking to redo A Pair of Red Clogs and a few others from the beginning of our FIAR journey..so I may just have to oblige :)
