Here's our's:

45 Oreo cookies, divided (1 package)
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
2 8 oz. packages semisweet baking chocolate, melted

Crush 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in a food processor; save for later. (This can also be done in a zippie bag with a rolling pin.).
Crush the remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs and place in a medium bowl.
Add the cream cheese and mix until well blended.
Roll mixture into 3 to 3 1/2 dozen or so balls, about 1" big.
Dip the balls in the melted chocolate and place them on a wax paper covered baking sheet.
Sprinkle the tops of the truffles with the reserved cookie crumbs.
Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
Store leftover truffles, covered, in the refrigerator.

HTH!

'store leftover truffles in refrigerator.'

leftover truffles????:roflol:
Not at our house.

A warning- the mint oreos are delicious but the dough is very soft- you may want to either cut down on the cream cheese or put the dough in fridge for a brief time before rolling them.

And, we drizzle chocolate over them- much less work than dipping.

Enjoy!

Oh, these are so heavenly!!! We are due to make ours next week. :yum:

Ours is like Suz's (same amount of Oreos and cream cheese), but we dip ours into almond bark and drizzle with melted chocolate chips instead of dipping it in chocolate and sprinkling it with cookies. :)

after mixing up the dough- it is best to refrigerate for at least 1 hr to get dough cold- easier to work with when rolling into balls and dipping in chocolate :)
