Hi! New to the boards

Hi I'm Marni and I have been lurking for a while now. I have never really posted on any boards before so this is a little nerve racking.:unsure: Anyway we have been using B4 since September and I would like to thank you all for your great resources and ideas. I think one of the best things about FIAR is the awesome ladies that love to share! I taught for 7 years in the public school system before my sons were born and I never encountered such a sharing and giving buch of people as I have seen here!! We have only done 2 stories so far- Jessie Bear and Ask Mr. Bear in September and then did some great fall, pumpkin and Thanksgiving things thanks to the great blogs I have seen from the B4 crew. Just wanted to say thanks and let you know how invaluable you all have been to someone who is very new and a little unsure of how this homeschool thing goes. My son and I love what we have done so far and look forward to diving in head first!

Like you, I taught public school before having my own. And I also agree with what you've said...the best ladies in the world are on this board! :clap: I have learned SO much here, they are like family!

Thanks Candace and Shannon! How great that you two were the first to welcome me, as your two blogs have been my most favorite (though there are so many good ones). I really do check in on you both every day to see what is new and what great things you are doing. I think you are both such great homeschooling mamas and when I have rough days a little peak at your blogs lifts me right back up. Thanks for the welcome. God is good!

Thanks for the welcome! Kristina, I live in Sacramento and my sister lives in the bay area (Novato). We love to go up and visit her. There is so much to do in S.F. and the surrounding area. Lots of great fieldtrips ahead!
