Because I did and I just checked out the archives for "How to Make an Apple Pie...." and I found some really great things to go into our Apple Pie FnL. This site is especially great:

So don't forget about the archives like I did;) Check them out:)

Just another reminding hint:
When you Google a FIAR book and the link does not work, CLICK the CACHED link! There is so much information wrapped up in those old links.

Would you mind explaining how to search the archives....i haven't figured out how to search them other than manually reading all the subject lines.
Also- how do you google a search- is that within the fiar website or just a regular google search?

For the archives, I do just go book by book and read what is in there. It takes some time, but I have found some really fun stuff.
For googling just type in the book at www.google.com and see what comes up. I found some neat Apple Pie ideas today. One of them was how to paint an apple tree.

I love the archives. I have gotten such wonderful stuff off there. When I'm planning my lessons I go to the archives after I have read the manual and finish filling in my plans.
For those who haven't used them or visited them in a while, they are well worth the time.
