Just had to share how awesome our God works...

A friend of mine approached me today and said that she was getting someones entire crop of bamboo and wondered if we could use any for crafts or such once she stripped and dried it. I told her we would love to see it before she strips it and explained we are rowing Ping and studying about China and had just talked about bamboo and pandas the day before.

I told her it would really be neat to see the process of her stripping it and it's drying. I offered for our family to come and help her strip it, but she was afriad it would be too hard on the girls' hands, she said hers get really cut up. She said it is a smaller variety than what would be found in China, but the effect would still be really neat.

Anyway, I just love how God puts things like that together.

Perhaps you could photograph it and share the pictures with us. It sounds so interesting! What a blessing. God's little gifts are so wonderful.

I'll have to ask her about the photos, I never really thought about it. She probably will.

I'd have to go to the library to upload any pics because we only get dial-up in our area and the connection usually times out or freezes when we try to upload photos.

Any suggestion on a good place to post them? I have never done any blogging or anything because of the dial up situation. I'll keep you all informed. TIA.
