Do you think age 10, 5th grade, is too old for FIAR 4?

I am not using Volume 4 yet although I have it. I am bumping this so you can get a response from some more seasoned FIAR Moms.:)

There may be some that disagree- but, for my children, Vol. 4 at 10 years old would work fine! I am actually going to save doing most of Vol. 4 for next year when my oldest ds is 10. Any of my older children would have loved Vol. 4 at 10yo.
ETA- there is plenty to keep a 10yo busy in vol. 4!

THANK YOU!! Thank you...........thank you. I needed this encouragement.
Did I thank you? :) :)
I am doing FIAR 3 with her this year at 9, 4th grade. I'm wrestling with the "not doing enough" bug. I hate that.
You made my day!

If your 10 yr old hasn't done it yet- go for it! Vol 4 is SO meaty with so many topics to explore. We loved it!

We are doing FIAR 3 this year at age 9. I have added Math-U-See, a chapter book we read from each day also, Italics and Explode the Code. It feels so natural and simple.......why oh why does it feel wrong when it feels simple?
Thanks, ladies!
