How do people use their fiar planners?

Ive just bought the fiar planner which is downloadble. How does everyone use it? Just wanting some idea On how to print out and how to store it?

It just makes such a big difference to bit a little organized in advance.

I printed a color copy and inserted it in my 3-ring binder under the appropriate tabs, ex. the calendar is under the "Calendar" tab, the pages for the lesson plans are under "Lesson Plans" etc.

I have 2 students and I put their plans on 1 page.

Hi Kylie,

I don't print off everything at once. I do one month at a time. I print off the monthly calendar, 4 weekly Plan and Journal, 4 shopping sheets, 4 Books/video sheets, and 4 Meal planning sheets. I have one copy of Resources to Remember and 1 copy of the Library list. This is what I use in about one month and once these are used up I throw all away and only keep the weekly plan and journal page so I can record what we did on the computer to keep records for the year. Once it's recorded in the computer than I toss that too.

Than I start in on a new month and put together the sheets again and make my plan for the next 4 or 5 books depending on how many weeks in the month.

When I put this monthly set together it's organized for each week. So I make a set of 1 copy each of the weekly plan and journal, than shopping sheet, than book/video sheet, than meal planning sheet, is all for the one week or the one book. So this 4 page set repeats itself for the other weeks. Confusing??

What stays permanently for the year is: Yearly calendar, FIAR book list, I have also added my own thing for goals for the year and a curriculum list.

Everything is kept in a 1/2 inch 3 ring binder.

I kinda of print mine out as I need it. I set up four weeks of school at a time and then during our week long break I set up the next few weeks.

I printed out the Weekly Plan & Journal page and on the reverse side of that I printed the Books/Vide/Places page on the reverse side of that. I print out the Resources to Remember and the Library List on a back to back page. Then I also print out one of the lined pages. That's the group of papers I use for each week of plans. I keep them in a three ring binder marked Week One, Week Two, Week Three, Week Four. When we're done they go to the back of the notebook under Finished. :)
