We're rowing Cranberry Thanksgiving and I thought of a fun book to go along with the language arts lessons: Hairy MacClary and Zachary Quack by Lynley Dodd. My boys love this book and it has such a great rhyme and rhythm to it.

We're rowing Cranberry this week, also.
I have to say, I have a hard time picking up on Alliteration when it is not the first letter of each word. I'm glad FIAR was there to point one out, but did you notice another one?

I know what you mean Molly. I didn't find any others in Cranberry Thanksgiving but when we were saying the phrase over and over again in order to hear it, I remembered the Hairy MacClary book has alliteration in the middle of words. It's the alliteration at the beginning and the end of the story which we like the best, but the whole book is a favorite around here!
