FIAR titles related to these field trips???

Hi Ladies, :hi:

Our homeschool support group is out-doing itself with field trips lately. I would like to link up some FIAR titles if possible. Here are our next three field trips.

Fire Station
Botanical Gardens
Local Christian Radio Station

Can you think of any FIAR books that would go well with these?

For the fire station I'd probably row Katy, it was on our list of field trips while rowing Katy a month ago. ;)

Botanical gardens might be fun with Miss Rumphius or Peter Rabbit..

Radio Station might be fun with Babar To Duet Or Not To Duet, but I only come up with that relation due to "sound".

If the botanical gardens has a japanese garden in it it would go great with GJ or A Pair of Red Clogs.

* The botanical garden would work for Roxaboxen, too, if it has a desert section.

* It is a stretch; but, you may want to give it try...You could connect the radio station to The Raft. There is a history of television lesson in The Raft. I also included how a television works. You could stretch such a lesson to cover how a radio station works, too ~ the transmission of electromagnetic waves would be the common link.
