Well, it is missing the pictures in it, but you'll get the idea.
Who knows if we will do every single problem. I seriously could have kept adding more and more math problems!
My boys are second graders, so the problems are a bit advanced for some younger children.
We are going to make our pie tomorrow, so I will let you all know if the kids wanted anything to do with worksheet.

How to make an apple pie and do some math!

(Without going all over the world. We are too tired to travel for a Kurundu Tree, and an elegant cow!)

First, we are going to wash and cut up____ apples.
If we cut each apple in half, how many pieces would we have? ______
If we cut each apple into ¼ pieces, how many pieces would we have?________

We will add ¾ cup of sugar. Fill this cup up ¾ of the way.

When we measure dry ingredients, we use a dry measuring cup.
Circle the dry measuring cup.

Next, we will add 2 tablespoons of flour, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon.

When we look at measuring spoons, they use abbreviations for tablespoon, and teaspoon.
TBSP means tablespoon. Tsp. Means teaspoon. A teaspoon is much smaller than a tablespoon.

ONTO MAKING THE CRUST!!!

We need 2 cups of flour.
If we only have a cup that measures ½ cup at a time, how many ½ cups would we need? ________

Next, we need 2/3 cup of butter. We will not actually put the butter in a cup to measure it out. The wrapper on the butter shows how much we need to use. Each stick of butter shows ¼, 1/3, and ½
If we need 2/3 cup, we can measure out 1/3 cup , and cut the extra butter off. If we do this two times, we will have 2/3! 1/3 + 1/3 = 2/3 !

Then, we need ¼ cup of COLD water.

Color the cup to show ¼ of a cup.

We have to divide our finished dough into two EQUAL pieces.
Each piece needs to be rolled out to measure 12 inches.
If we put our finger in the very center of our rolled out pie crust, How many inches is it from your finger to the edge of the pie crust? ________

Let’s preheat the over to 3 5 0 degrees!
Put a circle around the number that is in the tens place. Put a line under the number that is in the Hundreds place.

Now, we are going to put our pie together, and bake it for 50 minutes.
The instructions tell us that we should use foil on the edges of the crust to prevent the edges from overcooking. We should keep the foil on for 25 minutes. How many more minutes will the pie have to cook after we take the foil off the crust?_________

If we put the pie in the oven at ____:_____, what time will we need to take it out?____:____

Now, Lets EAT THE PIE!!! Shall we count how many bites it takes to eat a piece of pie??
