I started volume 1 with Hannah, so I have put volume 4 on hold for the months of November and December with Abby. I just added some advanced material for her. I didn't want to stress myself during the holidays.
I am so pleasantly surprised at how much Abby is getting getting out of our lessons. I asked her if she remembered doing these when she was 6. But she said it was hard for her to remember much from that time. She was having so many seizures, and was on so much medication that her little brain was just overloaded!
It has been such a joy to see how far she has come since then. It's hard to believe that I am able to teach both my girls at the same time given their age difference. I am tremendously thankful for the quality of the books and flexiblity of the lessons. I imagine that even after we go back to Volume 4 in January she will continue to glean lessons from Volume 1.
I just wanted to share how this program continues to touch our lives.
