The Seven Silly Eaters by Mary Ann Hoberman
Interesting tidbit @ how I came across this title:
My neighbor loaned me this title yesterday. We were just chatting in her backyard. She loves children's books, too, so we often talk about books.
Well, a woman in B&N recommended this title to her. The woman was irrate b/c someone had given her dc If You Give a Mouse a Cookie as a gift. She was out done that someone would give her such trash and was returning it. She carried on about how that person didn't know good children's literature. She asked my neighbor if she had a minute b/c she wanted to show her a good book...Hence, that's how my neighbor came across The Seven Silly Eaters...My neighbor bought a copy that day. I can only imagine this lady...She sounds like quite a character.
