I have looked at the ideas in the archived section and have tried looking for past threads--but I am new to this, so I may have missed something!

Does anyone have any MUST-DO ideas for Goodnight Moon? We are going to do this next week--ds already knows it backwards and forwards, but he can't get enough of it.

Some favorites for this book around our house-

play with red balloons, beginning time telling, find the mouse on each page, eat "mush", tell 3 little bears story.

Nothing I would consider MUST DO! but additional things to check out.

Hi Jen :hi:
Here is a link to a printout of Hey Diddle Diddle. I printed it, cut it out, and made a booklet for our lapbook. I let Holly put the pages in the right order to practice sequencing events. Very easy

Thanks, ladies! One idea I had was to take pictures of ds doing his bedtime routine and then put them on cards for him to practice sequencing.

Let me know if you think of anything else!

Jen,

Something we did last night was to go outside and just enjoy looking at the moon! It was a beautiful waxing crescent. Luke got a kick out of it and really enjoyed himself. Of course you would want to do this after a simple lesson on the phases of the moon and reading moon related books. :)

We also played the Good Night Moon matching game. You can buy this game online, and I have also seen it at Target.

Have fun!
