Ok, I need some help!!! (I know where to come!)
So I am part of this group of ladies that are cooking a bunch of food and distributing it to each other frozen. Like a "wish you were here" supper club.
Anyway, I wanted to make a tuna casserole, but can I freeze it? Will it turn out ok and not dried out?
Anyone BTDT?
And if you have ANY tried and true recipes that you love that freeze well (preferably without a cream of soup), would you please share? I need some help! :D
Thanks!

Never tried to freeze Tuna casserole. But a few of our favorites that do freeze well, the standby's- chicken enchiladas and lasagna. Sorry- there is cream soups in them- :/

Pot of Gold Casserole
/2 - 1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces noodles cooked
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream style corn
1/4 cup olive chopped
1 cup cheddar cheese grated

Brown meat, and onions. Add soups, corn, olives and noodles. Add 1/2 cup cheese. Put ingredients in casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 350 for 30 minutes.

Chicken Tetrazinni
12 oz. spaghetti
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can milk
2 cups cheese
Cooked cut up chicken
Cook spaghetti (not quite done if freezing meal). Combine soups and milk. Mix spaghetti, and soup mixture. Stir in cheese and chicken. Put in freezer bags or foil pans and freeze if desired. Bake 30 minutes. To serve frozen meal- defrost and bake 350 for 30 minutes. If frozen- cook 1 hour 30 minutes- aprox.

Thanks ladies, I am procrastinating!!! I need to have them done by Saturday and I haven't even found a recipe to use yet! I was going to do the tuna thing, but I can't help think that it will tend to dry out, ya know?

So I was going to make a chicken pot pie, but it ended up being to labor intensive. Ahhhhhh! I am losing my mind! I thought this would be fun, but I have sucked the fun right out of it. Now I have stress.

So, anyone who has a great recipe that is just full prof without the cream of stuff (I love those, but I have health reasons that make me limit them, so I just try not to use them if possible, which may not be possible) I would love your suggestions!!!

Help, please!

Thanks, I have to make 3 this go around. 4 if I want one.
My VERY good friend Heather just called and pealed me off the ceiling, :hcry: thanks Heather. I am going to make this really easy burrito casserole that my kids adore, but for some reason I thought was to easy, like cheating.

So, now I can still be in my pj's because it's a cozy rainy day instead of because I'm overwhelmed. :eyes: Drama, drama. See why I love Fiar? Everything is laid out and stress free! ;)

 Amanda! That looks great!
Here is my recipe if you want to try it out.
Brown your beef and add a taco seasoning pack, I just use half. Add to it 1 can of refried beans, 1 cup cheddar cheese and about /2 c salsa. Use flour tortillas and roll the mixture up and put them into a 9x13 pan. On the top I use a healthy cream of mushroom (Amy's) and 1/2 c. sour cream, stir this together and pour on top of the burritos, top with sliced blk. olives. Bake at 350 till bubbly, not long.
