I found a book at the library called Chibi by Barbara Brenner. It's a real life story that is very similar to what happens in Make Way for Ducklings except it takes place in Japan. I thought it would be a great transition between Red Clogs and Make Way or other way around. One Warning: After the family makes it safely across the highway, there is a storm and one duckling dies, but the most beloved duckling (Chibi) is found to be safe. I plan on doing a Venn diagram with Make Way.
