We completed our first ever FIAR week on Friday.
Mike Mulligan was a perfect first row for us. And, I think that FIAR is a perfect fit, too. He is anxiously waiting for Monday to begin reading Katy and the Big Snow. I have pictures of ds' notebook on my blog (http://journeytomom.wordpress.com), if anyone wants to see them. DS is only pre-k (4 1/2), so the notebook is nothing fancy. I feel pretty sure that he would lose interest rather quickly if I tried to do anything more involved. He is rather pleased with his notebook, and that is what's important, I think. And, he will remember the fun we had. I am sad to say that he doesn't remember anything about the B4 books/activities we had done.
Thanks to all who cheered us on and offered helpful ideas! You guys are great!
