The Red Carpet

This book was looking like a bust for us until I came up with a wonderful idea! Today we rolled rolls of toilet paper down our stairs. The kids LOVED it, and they actually wanted to read the book afterwards!!! I promised that we would roll the toilet paper all week - one roll per kid per day shouldn't break the bank.

Sometimes it pays to be more fun and spur-of-the-moment. :)

When we did this book, we rolled red streamers (like the kind you hang for birthday parties). This was over two years ago.

Well, I don't normally hang streamers for birthday parties, but we decided to for my youngest's first birthday last month. My older son saw them and said, "Oooohh! Like the red carpet! Can I roll these?" I had to explain to him what they were really for :lol:!
