We'll be marking the 10th anniversary of Five in a Row with a very special conference this year. Plan to join us October 8-10 in Kansas City for the "Five in a Row Conference- A Weekend in the Woods." Whether you've been using Five in a Row for years, or are just beginning the journey, you'll want to join us for this special weekend of information and inspiration. Join other Five in a Row users from around the world for fellowship, workshops, worship and sharing. Plan to arrive in Kansas City on Friday afternoon. The conference will be held in a beautiful, wooded retreat setting near Parkville, Missouri just 15 minutes from Kansas City International airport. If you're flying in, you'll find free ground transportation to and from the airport running every 45 minutes on Friday from noon until 6:00 PM and again on Sunday from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

The cost is $195 and will include ALL of your meals, lodging, ground transportation and conference registration.This year we're going to focus on getting to know one another, getting to know the Lamberts and learning how to walk out this wonderful adventure called homeschooling.

We'll be meeting in a wonderful ski-lodge type facility complete with fireplace, nestled into the beautiful, wooded hills of historic Parkville, Missouri just 15 minutes from the Kansas City airport. Free ground transportation will be provided to and from the airport for conference registrants. We'll also be providing ALL meals including Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday breakfast. Your individual registration also includes lodging in retreat facilities; bunk beds and all. (Linens provided.)

We also have 24 modern, private "motel-type" lodging units on-site for couples who wish to attend together: $395 includes lodging, meals and two registrations. These units are offered strictly on a first come, first served basis.

Also available are six brand new units for famlies on-site. These units were just completed this month and are absolutely gorgeous. They will sleep up to seven family members and these too are on a first come, first served basis at $595 which includes conference registration for mom only, but includes meals and lodging for the entire family while dad spends his days with the children exploring the area. The retreat center even has horseback riding available for family members and Kansas City has a wealth of fun and educational activities to explore during the day.

Finally, we have one building set aside for nursing mothers with infants 12-months and under. This building is more "homelike" and includes a "living room" for moms to care for little ones quietly during "middle-of-the-night" feedings, etc. where they'll be less likely to disturb others.

This year we're going to focus on more times of participant sharing, question and answer times, break-out groups with special emphasis on several areas including a special break-out group for those who would simply like to get together and pray for strengthening in their homeschool experience. We're also going to include a special focus on strengthening marriages to withstand the increased pressures (both financial and relational) that homeschooling can cause. If the weather cooperates we may even have a nature-hike, Charlotte-Mason style with Jane sharing ways to take your classroom into God's creation.

(Registration for those who have local lodging available is $150 per person which includes all events, activities and meals but does NOT including lodging.)

Registration is limited and we expect a sell-out this year. We haven't had a conference in two years so don't miss this great opportunity. You'll need to fill out and mail in a registration form (Register Here!). You can either mail in a check WITH your registration form, or pay via credit or debit card online. (You'll STILL need to mail in your registration form even if you pay online.)

You can reserve your place with a NON-refundable $95 deposit (balance due August 1st) OR you can pay in full. Those who pay IN FULL at the time of registration will receive $10 in "BONUS BUCKS" you can use toward any FIAR products at the conference!! All registration prices are good through July 31st. Late registrations AFTER the August 1st early-registration cut-off will go up $25.00.
